IES Rayuela is a State High School set in Móstoles, a city near Madrid (Spain). It offers Compulsory Secondary Education (12-16 year old students) and Non-Compulsory Education or Bachillerato (16-18 year old students) allowing students to get specialized training in several branches: Science and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences and Arts (Music and Performing Arts). IES Rayuela is committed to its students and is constantly working to improve education quality and keep up to the 21st century transformation. Our school works to be a point of reference in pedagogical innovation and is making a big effort to undertake the digitalization of processes and to train teachers in the most innovative methodological approaches.
Internationalization has been a priority in recent years and we have been part of the European Parliament's Ambassador Schools and developed several Erasmus+ projects. The main objectives in our Erasmus Plan are:
-
Revitalising teaching and learning processes. Innovating and motivating.
-
Improving the development of digital skills and competences among students and teachers and putting them at the service of the teaching and learning process.
-
Promoting foreign language learning through artistic and interdisciplinary projects with European centres.
-
Developing an inclusive learning plan.
-
Moving towards an increasingly sustainable centre. Being agents of change.
